Toka Yada (矢田 桃花, Yada Tōka) is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E in Kunugigaoka Junior High School.

Appearance

Yada is a beautiful teenage girl of average height with brown hair that is tied up in a ponytail by a red elastic (she temporarily changes it to a blue one until the end of the summer holiday) with bangs hanging on the right side, light purple eyes and she has the largest bust out of all the female students in Class 3-E, a trait inherited from her grandmother. Because she’s still in the stage of adolescence, her chest is still maturing, something the boys get restless about every day. When she was a teenager, her cup size was E.

During the summer holiday on the island, she wears a half white, half yellow T-shirt and purple shorts.

Yada is the big sister of Class 3-E and one of the most enthusiastic students about learning the art of infiltration from Irina Jelavić. She's been described as being adult-like and cool to the point that Kaede Kayano admits that she admires her despite her large bust.

Yada does not like violence, which is why she commits herself to negotiation in order avoid fighting.

History

Yada was sent to Class 3-E for neglecting a test in order to nurse her sick younger brother. This backstory would later be used as a means to escape jail in a game of Cops & Robbers.

Plot

Yada doesn't get significant focus until Chapter 66 where she helped the girls out of a tight spot by driving away a few thugs who were trying to flirt with them by pretending to be a mafia princess.

After the men run off, she then states that the yakuza emblem she had was obviously a loaner which came from Irina Jelavić. Kaede Kayano notes that she's always been the most interested student in Irina's lessons, to which she replies that, while she doesn't want to use seduction as a means to accomplish things, she wishes to gain the necessary tools for negotiation and entertaining as they would be the ultimate tools when going out into society, making the other girls compliment her on her maturity.

Aftermath

Midoriyama Gakuin University

After graduating from Midoriyama Gakuin Daigaku Fuzoku High School, Yada went to Midoriyama Gakuin University entered into a beauty pageant without her consent and ends up becoming a finalist.

Class 3-E Reunion

Some time after graduating from college, Yada reunited with some of her friends to take them to the Class 3-E.

Abilities

• Assassination: Yada is a skilled assassin, learning and being trained by Korosensei, Tadaomi Karasuma and Irina Jelavić. Yada also trains with the rest of her friends to improve her assassination techniques and those of her friends.
• Marksmanship: Yada showed skill using pistols. It was see using automatic and semi-automatic pistols to assassinate Korosensei. Yada also was trains regularly with her friends in the school yard for target shooting training.
• Knifework: Yada has the third best knifework on the girls side, along with Hinano Kurahashi and Rinka Hayami.
• Infiltration: As one of the more enthusiastic students in terms of Irina's lessons, Yada has gained notable skill in bribery, blackmailing and swindling as shown when she successfully drove away two thugs away by pretending to be a mafia princess.
• Negotiation Skills: Thanks to Irina's lessons, Yada has become a skilled negotiator and she is usually relied on by the class for certain tasks that require negotiation.
• Skilled Acrobat: Yada is talented in acrobatics, free running and parkour, being able to coordinate, escalate and maintain balance without losing it, thanks to Karasuma's training. She used them to climb the mountain behind the school, this allowed her to be one of the few people on a chosen flight plate to create a hydraulic cage around Korosensei and she managed to easily climb the steep drilled rock, to the top. She also used it in the woods during the Cops & Robbers game. Yada also showed that she can jump from roof to roof, and keep up with the rest of her friends with ease.
• Artist: Yada is the fifth best artist among the female students. Korosensei comments she has rather bold ideas and choices.
• Kissing Techniques: According to Irina, Yada is the 2nd best kisser from Class 3-E.
• Bilingualism: Yada is fluent in her native Japan and English.

Etymology

• The name Toka means "peach" (桃) (to) and "flower, blossom" (花) (ka).
  • Toka (桃花) can also be written/read as Momoka (桃花).
• Toka's surname Yada means "arrow" (矢) (ya) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).

• Yada's best subject is Japanese and her worst one is Mathematics.
• Yada's future goal is to get a job in the business sector.
• Yada's hobby/special skill is learning from Irina Jelavić's charm lessons.
• Yada's past club before dropping to Class 3-E was the Girl's Tennis Club.
  • The Roll Book Time reveals that she used to be in the varsity tennis team (with Yuma Isogai), which explains her skill at melee combat.
• The thing Yada finds enjoyable about the letter E are the days she’s spent since entering Class E, while the thing she finds depressing about the letter E is the day where she won’t be able to fit into an E cup anymore.
• Yada was called "Scrunchies and Boobs" during Class 3-E training using code names.
  • The one who wrote her codename was Taiga Okajima.
• In the "Girls you're interested in" ranking made by the boys on Chapter 19, Yada was ranked 2nd with breasts listed as her best point. In the anime, the commentary next to her vote tally said "Ponytail; big on top!"
• In Chapter 82, Yada tells Korosensei a story about her sickly younger brother in order to persuade him to let the students escape from the cell in the cops and robbers game. The character book reveals that she does have a seriously ill younger brother and that she fell into Class E due to skipping school to take care of him.
• During the Civil War, Yada was eliminated when Itona Horibe shot her.
